Dog Food Scoop (Featuring Dogs!)

We had some help from Toby the pit bull and striker the boarder collie in testing out our new 3D printed dog food scoop!

As any dog owner knows, mealtime for our furry friends can be a bit messy. That’s why we decided to take matters into our own hands and 3D print a custom dog food scoop for our pups Striker the Border Collie and Toby the Pitbull.

Using a design we found on Thingiverse, we printed two scoops in a single print session. However, with a print time of over six hours, we needed to ensure that our 3D printer would maintain perfect bed adhesion for the entire length of the print. That’s where 3D Print Stick XL came in.

With a generous layer of 3D Print Stick XL on the glass bed of our printer, the scoops were held firmly in place, without the need for any additional supports or adhesives. This allowed the print head to glide smoothly across the print bed, ensuring a perfect print every time.

Once the print was complete, we were thrilled with the results. The scoops were sturdy and well-designed, and the perfect size for our pups’ meals. Plus, the smooth and glossy finish of the PLA material made them easy to clean and a pleasure to use.

We’ve been using our 3D printed dog food scoops for several weeks now, and they have made mealtime much easier and less messy. Plus, the fact that we were able to customize the scoops to our dogs’ specific needs and sizes makes them even more special.

Overall, 3D printing our own dog food scoops was a fun and rewarding project that helped us solve a real-life problem in a creative way. And with the help of 3D Print Stick XL, we were able to ensure perfect bed adhesion and a flawless print every time.
